A longtime Valley police officer retired today from the Halringen Police Department.
Officer Arnold Sanchez was honored today by Police Chief Jeffry Adickes and the rest of the department.
Sanchez was initially a police officer in San Benito from Dec. 1988 to Oct. 1999. It was then he started his 18 year career in Harlingen.
He worked in several divisions including the patrol division, as a school resource officer, municipal court bailiff and most recently as a training and personnel officer.
Congratulations to officer Sanchez. Enjoy your retirement.
