District gets AG barn for FFA students

LYFORD – With livestock show competition coming into full swing, now the district’s Future Farmers of America students have an agriculture facility to look forward to using.

FFA officers had the opportunity to give guests a detailed tour of how the agriculture facility will be used during a ribbon cutting ceremony for the ag barn last week.

The new facility can house up to 30 to 40 small animals and 12 large animals. It cost $1,246,000 to build and is located on 14 acres of land.
