HARLINGEN — Police have arrested a man they say sexually assaulted a child.
Jorge Alberto Rodriguez, 42, of Harlingen has been arraigned on several felony charges, including four counts of aggravated sexual assault of child, six counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of sexual performance by a child.
His bond was set at $9.3 million.
The Harlingen Police Department Major Crimes Unit said earlier this month it was given information in reference to an aggravated sexual assault of a child.
They say they gathered evidence against Rodriguez. He was arrested Thursday.
