Police asking for help locating missing San Benito man

SAN BENITO — Police say they have been following several leads regarding the location of a missing San Benito man.

However, police have yet to find him.

Luis Santos Villarreal Jr., 36, was last seen Thursday, Dec. 29, in the San Benito area.

Police said he could be driving a 2002 tan Nissan Altima, license plate DPJ 6065.

Police Chief Michael Galvan said they are following several leads including one lead that he had been seen in the Brownsville area.

The community in that area is urged to notify the San Benito Police Department if they see him.

Villarreal is described as 5-feet, 11-inches tall, 280 pounds, bald, medium complexion with hazel/green eyes.

Police say Villarreal has several tattoos: a tear drop on the bottom of his left eye, a woman on his neck, Brownsville, Tx, on his forehead and a large Texas longhorn on his chest.
