HARLINGEN — Police are trying to find out how a woman found this morning lying in the middle of a street was injured.
The 38-year-old Harlingen woman was found by a passerby on a road off of Lozano Street behind North Star Village Apartments around 6:30 a.m.
It is unclear how long she had been there or how she suffered severe head and chest injuries. The woman is listed in critical but stable condition and is heavily sedated due to her injuries.
Police have no suspects at this time.
