SAN BENITO – The City of San Benito Vietnam veterans tribute committee will host a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate KIA/MIA Day, at 9 a.m., Friday at the flag pole in front of the municipal building.
Both the U.S. flag and the POW/MIA flag which will be flown throughout the day.
Refreshments will follow the ceremony.
The United States’ National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed across the nation on the third Friday of September each year.
