SBCISD provides professional development for staff

In preparing district personnel to welcome students to school for the new academic year, district employees participated in “target audience” professional development workshops.

From auxiliary personnel, police officers and coaches to teachers, nurses and district administrators, staff members attended job-specific training sessions that will help promote an overall environment conducive to learning.

“This week our entire district has been engaged in district-wide professional development. The Board of Trustees and Administration are fully committed to ensuring that all of our staff are equipped and prepared to do the best that they can when educating and serving all of our students,” said San Benito CISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Adrian Vega.

The dedicated efforts of district personnel will prove instrumental in fostering a “gold standard” learning environment.
