Boys & Girls Club creates basketball league

SAN BENITO — Local law enforcement officers are being invited to join a new basketball league.

The Boys & Girls Club of San Benito will hold registration tomorrow for its first Law Enforcement Basketball League.

Liz Chavez, a member of the board for the club, said the new league is being created to offer all law enforcement officers in the area an opportunity to play basketball in their off time.

Games will be played each Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Registration for the Law Enforcement League will take place at the facility from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Registration will take place again July 24 at the same time.

This is just one of many activities being offered by the Boys & Girls Club.
