San Benito CISD students become honorary police officers

Eight San Benito High School (SBHS) students became honorary San Benito CISD Police and Enforcer Club members. Honorees include, sitting from left, Anjelica Anguiano, Maria Guadalupe “Lupita” Martinez, Miranda M. Reyna, Yvonne Hernandez; standing, Rafael Constante, Adriana Ramirez, Gregorio Vargas; and not shown, Cesar Ayala. SBCISD Police/Security Department personnel presented each honoree with a certificate, woodcut plaque custom-made by the SBHS Building Trades instructor Candido Barrales, baseball cap, and backpack filled with safety awareness items. After the ceremony, guests and family members, teachers and police/security personnel, and fellow students enjoyed a cake and punch reception.
