RAYMONDVILLE — A Raymondville man who was in his 80s died yesterday afternoon after he was attacked by bees, authorities said.
He was found about 4:45 p.m. by his tractor on land outside of Raymondville, near the intersection of FM 490 and FM 88, Sheriff Larry Spence said.
He had been stung multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Relatives went to look for him after he had not been heard from since about 1 p.m., Spence said.
Officials have not released his name.
