SAN BENITO — The city’s Economic Development Corporation is teaming up with Matamoros officials to help a Mexican high-tech manufacturing company bring “many” good-paying, high-skilled jobs to town, an official said.

The Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation the Matamoros Economic Development Committee (CODEM) have for years worked together to cultivate economic development on both sides of the Rio Grande, but now that relationship has been formalized through a new memorandum of understanding.
