Brownsville Police are investigating the death of a little girl found in an inflatable pool.
Police were called to the 1200 block of Calle Milpa Verde on Sunday where a 9-year-old-girl was found unresponsive in inflatable slide/pool
She was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
Brownsville Police Department spokesman J.J. Treviño said although the case remains under investigation, it’s more than likely no arrest will be made.
Justice of the Peace Mary Esther Sorola has ordered an autopsy to find out exactly how the child died.
The little girl’s name has not been released by authorities.
