McALLEN — A female student was placed in custody today after allegedly making threats in the hallway of South Texas College, according to campus police.
The student became upset about something and made verbal threats, said Sgt. Johnny Barboza. No weapons were involved.
Campus police are investigating the incident, said Barboza, and no charges have been filed against the student. Police are in the process of speaking with the student and witnesses.
