Texas Southmost College will host a Facebook Live virtual Registration Rally for the spring 2021 semester at 6 p.m. Wednesday on TSC’s official Facebook page @tscscorpions.
The rally is being held virtually so students can ask questions from the safety and comfort of their homes.
“Despite the pandemic, it’s important that students continue their education,” said Executive Director of Enrollment and Academic Support Services Vanessa Vasquez. “We are making it easy and safe for our students to register and get the classes they need to continue working toward their educational goals.”
During TSC’s Registration Rally, students will hear from representatives of numerous departments including, Admissions and Records, Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Veterans Success Center and Business Services.
Students will also have the opportunity to ask their questions and get a real-time response.
“During the event students can expect to get a response in the comment section of the Facebook Live event or receive a phone call from one of our representatives,” said Vasquez. “Students need to know that we are still here for them and supporting them.”
Those students who enrolled in courses between October 15, 2020 – January 13, 2021 by 4 p.m. will have the opportunity to win TSC swag or Apple AirPods.
In addition to virtual events and extending advising hours until 8 p.m. from Monday-Friday, TSC is also helping students by reducing tuition by 20% for spring 2021.
Spring 2021 classes begin Jan. 18.
