The Texas Department of Public Safety says a 39-year-old man died on Monday morning after crashing into a utility pole.
A news release said the crash happened at 12:22 a.m. on FM 1732 east of New Carmen Avenue in Brownsville.
Preliminary investigation revealed the rider of a black/gray 2024 Suzuki motorcycle traveling eastbound on FM 1732 east of New Carmen Avenue failed to travel in a single lane, veered off the roadway and hit a utility pole.
Juan Pablo Oropeza Bellavia, of Brownsville, died.
DPS continues to investigate the crash.
