The Donna Police Department arrested an 18-year-old man Friday afternoon for the death of a 6-month-old infant.
In a news release, police said Seneca Allen Booker was arrested for the death of the infant, who died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Police responded to the Dolphin Hotel in the 2300 block of U.S highway 83 Friday where the child was found unresponsive.
The child was taken to Knapp Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Booker is being held in the Donna city jail pending a first appearance.
No other information was immediately released.
