The Edinburg Police Department is investigating the death of a 57-year-old man who fell from scaffolding Monday morning.
In a news release, police said officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South 25th Street just after 9:30 a.m. in reference to an unresponsive man. When they arrived, they found the unidentified man dead inside the building.
“There is no sign of foul play as it appears this was a construction work related accident where the male appears to have fallen from some scaffolding,” the release stated.
The case is still under investigation.
