Three arrests have been made in a McAllen police investigation into online solicitation of a minor.
Authorities said in a news release Friday that Joseph Banda, 43; Daniel Casarez, 32; and Brandon Jay Escobar, 19, were arrested on the charge of online solicitation of a minor.
Although few details have been provided, Hidalgo County jail records show that the charge Banda and Casarez are facing is online solicitation of a minor under 14, while Escobar is facing charges of online solicitation of a minor.
Banda was booked Wednesday and released Thursday on a $40,000 bond. Casarez and Escobar were booked Thursday and released Friday — the former on a $20,000 bond and the latter on a $10,000 bond, jail records indicate.
