DHR Health announced Tuesday morning that it will be postponing all COVID-19 vaccinations until Thursday.
In a news release shared on Facebook, DHR announced the postponement as a result of rolling brownouts in the city of Edinburg.

DHR’s water systems have been “depleted,” the release further noted, and as a result the hospital has been forced to activate its emergency operations plans which include reserving water for inpatient care, dialysis and emergencies.
Anyone who was scheduled to receive a second dose of the vaccine Tuesday should report to the Edinburg Conference Center, located at 118 Paseo Del Prado, on Thursday or Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Attempts to reach DHR Health for comment were unsuccessful as of press time Tuesday.
