Mission police are investigating the death of a 2-month-old baby boy.
Police spokesman Art Flores said officers responded to the 3200 block of Magdalena Street at 9:45 a.m. Thursday after the child’s father called to report that he found the infant unresponsive.
Flores said both parents are cooperating with the investigation and added that the child’s father attempted CPR.
Police said Thursday afternoon that foul play is not suspected.
An autopsy has been ordered.
No other information on the open investigation was immediately available.
