DHR Health and the city of Edinburg announced Tuesday afternoon that officials will distribute vaccine wristbands on Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. on a first-serve basis at H-E-B Park.
The wristbands are for the first dose of the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and will only be handed out to those who are present.
“Elderly persons and those with disabilities who are unable to travel to the distribution site can call (956) 362-6843 for further instructions on securing a vaccination wristband,” a news release states.
The park is located at 1616 S. Raul Longoria Rd.
Vaccinations are scheduled to occur Wednesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance.
