Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino Jr. this morning ordered the closing of accesses to some county beaches due to high tide.
The affected beaches include Boca Chica Beach and accesses No.5 and No. 6 on South Padre Island.
These county beaches are being temporarily closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic due to high tides and undriveable conditions. The county ask that all individuals be cautious.
