A Palmview man was arrested after allegedly dropping off his girlfriend’s dead body outside of Mission Regional Medical Center Friday night, according to Palmview Police Chief Chris Barrera.
The man was arrested in Pharr with an undisclosed amount of drugs and was turned over to Mission police for questioning.
He revealed the pair were staying at the Palmview Inn Motel when she died. Authorities have not disclosed her identity or cause of death.
Palmview police officers were securing the area at the motel Saturday morning and the case is being treated as a homicide.
