As you get ready for the weekend and are looking for something to get you in that holiday spirit, there are plenty of Christmas parades on tap in the Rio Grande Valley with the first one scheduled for tonight in Harlingen.
Harlingen’s annual Christmas parade begins at 6 p.m. in the downtown area.
Los Fresnos will hold its annual Christmas parade beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday. The parade begins on East Second and Alamo streets.
Port Isabel’s annual Christmas parade will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday and will start at the Laguna Madre Youth Center and end at the Port Isabel Event and Cultural Center.
Brownsville’s 70th annual Christmas parade begins at 7 p.m. at West First Street and Palm Boulevard.
McAllen’s annual Holiday Parade begins at 6 p.m. Saturday and starts from McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium on Bicentennial Boulevard toward Business 83.
