City Manager Noel Bernal, among other City of Brownsville department managers will be dunked in water today to celebrate city employees coming together to reach an annual $35,000 fundraising goal for the United Way of Southern Cameron County.
The dunk tank will be assembled on Market Square with various employees throwing balls to dunk the managers.
Management to be dunked include the following:
>>Noel Bernal, city manager
>>Helen Ramirez, deputy city manager
>>Felix Sauceda, police chief
>>Jarrett Sheldon, fire chief
>>Lupe Granado III, finance director
>>Felipe Romero, communications & marketing director
The event begins at 1 p.m.
