HARLINGEN — In its efforts to reopen locations throughout the U.S. amid COVID-19 restrictions, Cinemark in Harlingen will welcome customers back on Friday.
According to Cinemark’s website, the Harlingen location is the only one to reopen this weekend in the Rio Grande Valley.
Next weekend, locations in Brownsville, Edinburg and Pharr are expected to reopen.
Masks will be required inside theaters, which can be removed for eating and drinking.
Private movie-watching gatherings are available to book as well.
Comeback classics such as “Back to the Future” and “Jurassic Park” are featured and discounted popcorn and drinks are offered for a limited time.
