Bryan Read

Bryan Read is the design editor for RGVSports.com. He previously served as The Brownsville Herald and Valley Morning Star sports editor, and as the news director and sports editor of the Herald since the fall of 2008. Prior to that, he served as a sports copy editor at The Monitor beginning in the spring of 2004. Also, he covered the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, high school soccer and dirt-track auto racing at the former Texas Thunder Speedway as a sports reporter with the Killeen Daily Herald beginning in the summer of 2001.
