Two arrested in Harlingen narcotics bust

HARLINGEN — A man and women were hauled out of their home late last week after police arrested them for possession of illegal narcotics and child endangerment.

Harlingen residents Noe Aguilar, 34, and Griselda Arispe, 30, were busted by members of the Harlingen Police SWAT team in conjunction with members of Harlingen Police Organized Crime Unit and Homeland Security Investigators.

The law enforcement agencies were executing a search warrant of their home.

Aguilar and Arispe were each handed $120,000 bonds.

Both are being charged a third degree felony for possession of a controlled substance, first degree felony for delivery of a controlled substance, abandon endangerment and criminal activity.

The arrest took place in the 1100 block of East Polk Street on Friday, Feb. 2.

During the search, warrant police seized currency, narcotics and packaging material.

Both suspects were transported to the Harlingen Police Department for arraignment.
