The Red Cross has opened shelters for Rio Grande Valley residents impacted by severe weather conditions. Shelters include Los Fresnos United Dome, 33790 FM 803, in San Benito; Donna National Guard, 307 Miller Ave., in Donna; and Sam Houston Elementary, 608 N. Cantu St. in Weslaco.
