The City of Brownsville has announced that the Ozanam Center will be open to individuals seeking shelter from the cold weather.
The center, located at 656 N. Minnesota Ave., has 60 beds available. The shelter is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Those seeking shelter will be required to test for COVID-19.
The National Weather Service in Brownsville reports that the Rio Grande Valley will experience extremely cold temperatures over the next several days.
