A McAllen man pleaded guilty to enticement of a minor and production of child pornography Tuesday, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District Court of Texas.

Christian Hanks, 29, was convicted of recording himself with one minor victim and enticing another to engage in sexual conduct with him.

The investigation into Hanks revealed that he had sexual intercourse with a minor in December 2023 and that he engaged in conversation with another minor in Louisiana to entice her.

“Hanks faces up to 30 years in federal prison for the production of child pornography and up to life for enticing the second minor victim,” the release said.

Hanks is set to appear before U.S. District Judge Micaela Alvarez for his sentencing in January.

He will remain in custody pending his sentencing.
