Fifteen more Cameron County residents have died from COVID-19 related causes, county health officials said Tuesday night.
This raises the total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the county to 126.
The individuals ranged from a 50-year-old man in Brownsville to a 90-year-old man in Brownsville.
In addition, Cameron County Public Health reported an additional 307 new COVID-19 cases locally.
The cases include 22 children aged 9 and under and 24 children aged 10 to 19 and 53 people in their 20s.
This raises the total number of virus cases in Cameron County to 6,520.
