MISSION — The victim of a fatal Monday afternoon motorcycle crash was identified Tuesday as 20-year-old Kevin Chavana of Sullivan City.
Chavana was hit by a small box truck in the 800 block of North Shary Road at approximately 1:39 p.m., according to police spokesman Lt. Jody Tittle.
Chavana was transported to McAllen Medical Center, where he later died.
The crash occurred when the truck’s driver pulled out of a private driveway to turn north on Shary Road, striking Chavana, who was traveling southbound. The accident remains under investigation.
