Come of the City of McAllen’s regular garbage collection routes were suspended Thursday because of the heavy rains and flooding.
The city’s public work crews are working through the weekend to make up for the missed residential cycle pick-up, the city said in a news release.
Citizens are encouraged to ensure their trash containers are located in the normal pick-up location.
