Advanced Audio/Video (A/V) Production students Melony Baltazar, Randy Merida, and April Guerrero recently competed at the 53rd annual SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. While touring downtown Louisville, the students and their A/V Production instructor Joel Rodriguez had the honor of meeting and posing for photos with Evander Holyfield, former professional boxer who won the bronze medal in boxing at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics before going pro.
Holyfield reigned as the undisputed champion in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions and doing so earned him the nickname of “The Real Deal.” He is also the only four-time world heavyweight champion.
