H-E-B partners have a little more money in their pockets, as the grocery store chain handed out $500 bonuses to its employees today, officials confirmed.
The company says it is giving each of their more than 120,000 Partners in the Lone Star State the bonuses. The bonuses will total $60,000,000.
The money is being given to full-time and part-time hourly and salaried workers employed before Oct. 23 via direct deposit.
H-E-B says the bonus money isn’t just for the workers you see at the stores, it also includes those in manufacturing, warehousing and transportation positions, and administrative locations. It also includes employees at Central Market, Mi Tienda and Joe V’s locations as well as Favor Team Members.
“At H-E-B, our success starts with our people. H-E-B’s twitter page was flooded with thank you’s from its employees for the additional money.
