Vice president lands in McAllen for tour of border

Vice President Mike Pence landed at McAllen International Airport shortly before 3 p.m. Friday.

Vice President Mike Pence landed at McAllen International Airport shortly before 3 p.m. Friday.

Pence is expected to tour the he U.S.-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley.

Prior to arriving in the Valley Friday afternoon, Pence was in San Antonio providing keynote remarks at a fundraiser for Trump Victory, an organization that benefits President Donald Trump’s re-election and the Republican National Committee.
Following his Valley visit, Pence will spend Saturday in Dallas at a tax reform event, followed by a keynote address at the Dallas County GOP’s Reagan Day Dinner.
