Vets are on their own

I have been writing about the VA health care and the VA Benefits department for 20 years or more.

Some people read what I write some don’t. For those of who don’t well if you do not have relatives or friends then it probably doesn’t make any difference to you that Veterans who fight for our country are treated like second class citizens by the Veterans Administration system.

The VA hires thousands of attorneys to defend the VA from Veterans wanting to receive health care from the government who promised it to us.

There are also benefits for wounds and physical problems upon returning from war.

This is when the VA pulls its attorneys out and veterans go to see a VSO, a Veterans Service Officer.

DAV, VFW, VVA, AM Vets … and these men with a few weeks of training are supposed to go up against the attorneys from the VA who get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to defeat VSO’s who might get oh I don’t know $40,000?

Anyway the VA is out for itself and the Veterans are on their own.
