HARLINGEN – A Harlingen man was killed after he was struck by a car early this morning.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the fatal crash that at 6:50 a.m. on Bass Boulevard south of Business 83 in West Harlingen.
Preliminary information from troopers indicate that a driver was headed south on Bass Boulevard in a Mercedes Benz when the driver struck the pedestrian. The female driver remained on the scene of the accident.
Officials have yet to release the identity of te victim. No charges have been filed at this time.
