Meet Pharr Forward Commissioner Roberto “Bobby” Carrillo
Place 2 Commissioner Roberto “Bobby” Carrillo, a U. S. Air Force veteran and a public servant for more than 13 years. He has delivered accountability to citizens, responsible management of taxpayer funds, and has worked to achieve a better Pharr for our community.
Under our leadership, and together with our current colleagues on the Pharr City Commission, we have seen our great city of Pharr experience phenomenal growth, enhanced quality of life, better educational and employment opportunities, support for our business community, and much more,

Meet Pharr Forward Place 3 Commissioner Dr. Ramiro Caballero
A specialist doctor caring for babies for 35 years, has devoted his professional career to serving others, improving lives, and contributing to the growth and prosperity of our community. As a commissioner, he cares about our Pharr families and works to make a positive impact by bringing educational opportunities, promoting economic success, and supporting health and wellness initiatives. Dr. Caballero serves on the Pharr Economic Development Corporation and works closely on Bridge and trade initiatives. During his tenure on the Pharr City Commission, he has enjoyed seeing his community thrive – not only from the eyes of a medical professional but as a public servant. Dr. Caballero was instrumental in creating and launching Pharr’s “Operation Senior Care,” an innovative initiative to provide COVID-19 vaccine to homebound elderly in our community. “In Pharr, we truly care about our community and our families, and the work we do shows,” #PharrForward
Meet Pharr Forward Place 4 Commissioner Daniel Chavez
Hails from south Pharr and is an active voice bringing attention, awareness, and resources to all Pharr families’ needs, and works to keep all of Pharr’s residents on the path to economic prosperity. Through his faith and charitable community service, he been giving back to his community his entire life, with a focus on providing for those most in need. Commissioner Chavez has been a leading advocate for bridging partnerships between the business community and the education community, helping to implement programs that give students real-life learning experiences and opportunities. Chavez has been recognized by outside organizations for his efforts to support educational opportunities for students, most recently being named the 2019-2020 recipient of the Community Partner Excellence Award by the South Texas Career Technical Association, for supporting internship programs for aspiring electricians. We will continue doing everything we can to keep Pharr moving forward! #PharrForward
Early voting in the May 2021 city election begins on Monday, April 19, 2021, and runs through Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Election Day is Saturday, May 1, 2021.
