President Bill Clinton left behind a hefty, healthy surplus for George W. Bush. “Oh, thank you for the nice gift,” George said, “I’ll use my inherited capital wisely.” And then, for no apparent reason, we’re involved in a costly war with Iraq.
And Saddam Hussein is like, “Hey man, why you messing with me?”
“Because you’ve got something we want and we’ve always relished attacking you. And now, because of 9/11, we can.”
“It was the Arabs, you dummy, I had nothing to do …”
“End of conversation goofball, you’re dead to us.”
With this war, Bush squandered his inherited surplus and left President Barack Obama with a fat, ugly deficit and a shambled economy. Thousands of innocent lives were lost and mangled.
In spite of having to deal with childish Republican obstructionism, Obama managed to slowly pick us up, get us out of the smelly sewer and lead us toward a brighter light.
And then came Donald Trump, half of his time playing golf and the other half defending himself from serious allegations. He was impeached twice! Once for trying to bribe the Ukrainian president into doing his dirty work and another for inciting a riot to prevent a Joe Biden presidency.
The blind Republican Congress members who acquitted him twice and who still do not see the wrong he has done must take off their blinders. Like a category 5 hurricane, Trump invaded America and left behind nothing but ruin and devastation. And President Biden, like President Obama, is trying to get us out of the mess we’re in. He is not the cause of it, as some have so ignorantly suggested.
If Trump is ever punished for his misdeeds, he must not be punished alone. Those who acquitted him twice and enabled him to damage our cherished democracy should also be punished, perhaps even more harshly.

Wow — by now we all know what happened at Martha’s Vineyard with those planeloads of immigrants. Martha’s Vineyard is a leftist haven with more than 80% Biden/Democrat voters. In response to two planeloads of immigrants flown in from Florida, they responded with a massive mobilization of donated resources and called in the military to house most of the immigrants in less than 48 hours.
All this because about 50 people showed up? Some might say this is just a political charade to send those planes there. I don’t know. But it sure revealed those Martha’s Vineyard Democrats as hypocrites and frauds.
They set a beautiful example for all the nation — the entire nation should emulate Martha’s Vineyard on how to deal with the immigration problem. They got more military assistance to shelter the immigrants than was provided at Benghazi.
I guess those at Martha’s Vineyard now agree with Trump about “bad hombres.”
According to President Trump, a current Department of Homeland Security report confirms that Venezuela is emptying its prisons and sending its violent criminals to our southern border. Another government report reportedly states that about 80 people on the terror watch list have been arrested at the border in 2022. Makes you wonder how many got away. Thanks, Joe Biden.
