I am at a loss to understand the uproar, outcry, indignation and hysteria by the GOP and MAGA cultists over the FBI raid of former president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago sanitarium/loony bin and political bazaar.
Once the respected party of law and order, the GOP now is nothing more than a crazed vigilante mob, aching for a confrontation and a rumble, at the expense of civility and stability.
So simple to have avoided the FBI raid: return the classified documents! No discussion. No dialogue. No negotiations. Only a man with a fuehrer complex, and a party without fortitude or nobility, would dare to incite a showdown at the Mar-a-Lago saloon.
So, to those shocked, offended, upset or disturbed by the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago: Group up! Stop your bluster, commotion and outraged pandemonium. Trump is not yet fuehrer, and above all law. But beware, be careful what you wish for.
There are still those of us who believe in law and order, and adherence to both, by all, rich or poor, sane or insane, white, black, brown or green, right or left, red or blue. Intimidation, humiliation, victimization, obstructionism and above all sedition and armed rebellion will not deter or discourage true American patriots and patriotism.
America is strong. Stronger than a madman wanting to play fuehrer, and a mob wanting to play war.
