Questions on Trump Cabinet

Recent news reports about President Biden’s reaction to Mexico’s policy in the energy business, and also about corruption in Central America.

Oh, boy, why look south to find corruption in governments? I learn daily about how our form of government has been corrupted by our former president and abetted by Congress and mostly by the Republicans in the Senate!

For those who only watch Fox, NewsMax and other propaganda media, I have some factual news for you today. Our different Cabinet positions have a critical role in how our government functions, how our lives are lived on a daily basis and how safe we are in our homes, our businesses and entertainment venues. When these areas are corrupted either by the secretaries in charge or by neglect, we all suffer the consequences. Apparently, when these people were vying for their jobs, they had to declare loyalty to the president, not America, before they could be nominated for the Cabinet positions!

The Education secretary’s policies have caused 78% of our students to be two to three years behind in their learning nationwide. She saw the writings on the wall and resigned.

Health and Human Services, by its policies and actions, has been instrumental in the deaths of more than 1 million American citizens and continuing to this day with conspiracy theories.

The Energy Department in 2016 had America energy independent and working 24/7 on climate control. But under our former president, things changed rapidly. Coal was brought back and touted as our savior. Did we buy cheap oil at $32 a barrel and fill up our reserves to the brim for a catastrophe brought on by Vladimir Putin? Hell no!

The Transportation secretary (who is Mitch McConnell’s wife) left us with ships stranded and out of sync with the world’s trade, which led to massive price hikes and delays. She also got the memo and resigned.

The Justice Department politicized to the point that it was just a rubber stamp for what the man wanted. The attorney general also saw the light and resigned.

Those five are just a tip of the iceberg. We have the Postal Service totally dysfunctional to the point that it takes seven days to deliver a letter 300 miles. The Supreme Court has three people who apparently bent a knee and pledged loyalty, and I say this because of their rulings and what has happened to the court’s public approval ratings.

And now we learn that the director of he Secret Service seems to have the same ailment of a bended knee. The people in charge had all text messages on the agents phones deleted for the dates of Jan. 5 and 6! Wow — that is a serious breach of the law. No one should be able to defend themselves on this matter. This act of destroying evidence has been on everyone’s mind since the days of Nixon. I am so bewildered when a person goes on our public payroll and commits loyalty to one person instead of the taxpayers; I almost lose faith in the American people.

Does anyone but me remember the last meeting Trump and Putin met? After the meeting Trump took the interpreter’s notes and told her not to say anything about the meeting to anyone. Where are the notes of that meeting? Did the Archives get them? Are they at Mar-a-Lago? Has the Senate or House ever held a hearing on this breach of our laws?
