The city of Palmview said Friday that it believes a fire that burned its all-inclusive playground was set on purpose.
A media advisory from the city states that the “deliberate fire” destroyed an all-inclusive playground at the Palmview Showers Park on Thursday.
A press conference will be held at 11:45 a.m. at 1717 North Showers Road on Friday between the fire station and Chavez Middle School.
Palmview police and the city’s fire department will be there to release details regarding the alleged arson.
