Motorcycle accident leaves one dead

Brownsville police continue to investigate an early morning motorcycle accident that left the operator of the motorcycle dead.

The accident happened at about 2 a.m. Monday at the 3700 block of Charmaine Street, said Investigator Martin Sandoval, spokesperson for Brownsville Police Department.

Sandoval said a 20-year-old man was driving the motorcycle and lost control.

“The male subject had no pulse as officers arrived on the scene,” Sandoval said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sandoval said the accident is still under investigation, and the identification of the man is still pending.
