The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal hit and run that left a 69-year-old man dead Saturday night.
In a news release, DPS said someone driving an unknown vehicle hit and killed Ramon Arriaga at around 11:23 p.m. on Mile 4 1/2 W. Road north of Mile 11 N. Road.
Arriaga, the pedestrian and a Weslaco resident, and died at the scene.
Anyone with information about the suspect vehicle or suspect is asked to call DPS at (956) 565-7600.
