Martial artist and action movie legend Chuck Norris will be in McAllen this weekend along with actors Chandler Riggs, Steven Ogg and Alana Masterson from “The Walking Dead” for the South Texas Comic Con.

The seventh annual event kicks off this weekend at the McAllen Convention Center starting at noon Friday and ending Sunday.

STCC is a celebration of pop culture where fans can gather to meet actors, artists, writers and fellow fans to enjoy autograph sessions, cosplay contests, Q&A panels and much more.

Attendees can also compete in video and card gaming tournaments as well as a cosplay contest where the first-place winner could take home $750 in cash or shop at the Artists Alley and Vendor Market.

Fans with kids can take their children to The Kid Zone to take a break from the art workshops, photo ops and more.

Pre-sale tickets have ended but attendees can purchase tickets at the door using cash or credit. Prices for tickets were unavailable at the time of writing.

At the entrance, there will be three different lanes for tickets. Those who have VIP tickets will go through lane one, those who have presale tickets can enter through lane two and attendees purchasing their ticket upon entry should use lane three.

VIP guests can enter Friday at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Doors open to the public at noon Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Celebrity guests will also include Amy Jo Johnson and David Yost of “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” fame, in addition to Riggs, Ogg, Masterson and Norris, as well as many more.
