Those of you who are sports, comics and collectable fans are going to want to attend the Star-Base Collectors Con happening Aug. 7 and Aug. 8 at the Brownsville Events Center.
According to Star-Base’s website SBCC is the Rio Grande Valley’s newest collectors convention bringing together fans from every genre. Whether it be anime, comic books, autographs, meeting celebrities and sports stars, art, sports cards, movie memorabilia or toys, SBCC will have it all.
Tickets for the event range from $3 to 100.
Some of the guests include former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys Danny White, Dickey Beer, a stunts performer for Star Wars, Boba Fett and Barada, the WWE’s Kevin Nash, Guy Gilchrist, Jim Hensen’s cartoonist, Cosplayer Kelen Lestrade, Naomi Grossman from American Horror Story plus many more.
