A crop duster crashed Thursday in a field near Edcouch, south of the State Highway 107 and 2 Mile Road intersection. The pilot, who had not been identified, was taking off from a crop duster headquarters when he hit power lines and came down. The pilot reportedly didn’t suffer any significant injuries and refused transport to a hospital.
