An investigation has been launched over the discovery of a man’s body found in Mission on Thursday afternoon, Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra announced via social media.
At 5:43 p.m., Guerra said authorities checked on “a suspicious vehicle abandoned” south of 107 on Conway.
After searching the brushy area near the vehicle, authorities discovered the man’s body.
“The initial review of the body shows no signs of foul play,” Guerra said.
The sheriff said the investigation was ongoing.
